Rushikesh Mane Represents India in the South Asia-ITF Asia 12 & Under Team Competition
Nerul Gymkhana Tennis Academy Player Master Rishikesh Mane got selected to represent India in ITF Asia 12 and under team competition for South Asia which took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Master Rishikesh presently is being coached by Nerul Gymkhana Tennis Academy Head Coach Mr. Gitesh Awasthi.
The tournament organized by the Bangladesh Tennis Federation took place from May 16 to May 20, 2023. Rishikesh Mane competed against talented players from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Each team, eyeing for a spot in the Finals of the 2023 ITF Asia 12 & Under Team Competition.
As Rushikesh prepared to don the Indian jersey, he reflected on his unwavering commitment, countless hours of practice, and the sacrifices he had made along the way. Rushikesh’s journey has not been without challenges. He has faced numerous hurdles and setbacks, but each time he has emerged stronger and more dedicated than ever. His resilience and absolute focus are truly inspiring, serving as a reminder to aspiring athletes that success comes to those who persevere.
There are many budding talents and shining stars of Nerul Gymkhana who are ready to march ahead. Next year two more students Master Aarav Chhallani and Ms. Tammana Nair will be representing India at Asian level or World Tour level. In June 2023, we are participating in International and Asian-level tournaments across various countries in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Our team consists of 12 to 15 young talents who will be representing India in these competitions Gunjan Jadhav, Anup Bhagragi, Pradyumna Tomar, Keshav Nahata, Anandi Bhutada, Om Verma, Abhilipsa Mallika, Anand Vihari, Rishikesh Mane, Aarav Chhallani, Tammana Nair and few more who achieved International rankings as well.
