Nerul Gymkhana introduced its swimming facility in 2002, making it one of our inaugural offerings. Over the years, we have expanded our services and are thrilled to announce the recent construction of an Olympic-sized pool which is 50 meters long and is dedicated to professional training in Navi Mumbai. This pool meets the international standards and provides an exceptional environment for swimmers to excel their skills.
The pool features a comfortable changing room area, providing convenience for swimmers. At Nerul Gymkhana, we are committed to providing top-notch swimming facilities to cater to the needs of our members. The newly constructed Olympic-sized pool serves as a testament to our dedication to promoting swimming as a competitive sport and offering a platform for aspiring athletes to excel at international level competitions.
50 Meter State of the art Swimming Pool Inauguration: – The State of the Art 50 Metre International Pool was inaugurated on 09th March 2024. The Chief Guest for the Inauguration was Shri Rajesh Narvekar (IAS), Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner. The following eminent personalities graced the occasion as Guest of Honour Shri. Kailash Shinde (IAS), Jt. MD CIDCO, Shri. ManuKumar Srivastva ( IAS), Chief Commissioner RGS, Shri Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Former Indian Cricketer. ,Ms Rupali Rapale, International long distance Swimmer, National level Cyclist and Tri Athelete, Winner of 2 National Awards and Shivchhatrapati Awardee. Ms Barkha Kedia Agrawal, International Open Water Swimmer, Winner of Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award, Shivchhatrapati Awardee. Shri Shubham Vanmali, International Open Water Swimmer, Winner of Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award and Shivchhatrapati Awardee.
The pool was competed in record time of 16 months and is managed by M/ S Ederra and is patronised by record number of members and member guest. This is unique and one of it’s kind in Navi Mumbai.
